(Please note: the central pool belongs to the private apartments, not the hotel. The hotel's pool is upstairs and is rectangular, still a good size for some relaxing laps) Breakfast was really nicely laid out and had plenty of options for people who wanted continental and for those who wanted something more local and traditional.

We were treated so well here from the moment the hotel's driver met us at the airport to the time we checked out. We were upgraded at check-in and gifted a tropical fruit plate as a welcome gift. The dinner buffet was exceptional in choice and quality. We only stayed one night, but what a wonderful introduction to Indonesian Borneo - we felt like minor rock stars.
